Sorry Day

For the third year running, Baptist Care SA’s Inner City site held a community event to celebrate National Sorry Day and mark the beginning of Reconciliation Week.

It was a great opportunity for clients, volunteers, staff and members of the community to come together and reflect on the experiences of the Stolen Generations.

The event was fully catered and included live entertainment by musician Les Sumner, art and craft, massage therapy and a kangaroo tail cooking demonstration by one of our Elders.

Thank you to those who donated their time and talent to the event; to Les Sumner, Fly Bird Fly Art Studios, masseuse Mandy Lambert, students from Temple Christian College, staff and volunteers.
