B Care Network
‘B Care’ network aims to bring together existing health and community care ministries of the SA Baptist Churches to promote synergy of existing programs and stimulate new pastoral Health & Care activities.
Partnering churches will continue to have autonomous governance of the Health & Care ministry activities they choose to undertake. The ‘B Care’ program aims to network individuals in churches and encourage them to work together to engage with their communities and build the capacity of their Health & Care services.
What will Baptist Care provide?
Baptist Care will provide participating ‘B Care’ churches with consultation and support to enable them to commence, nurture and sustain viable Health & Care ministries. We will work in partnership with churches to achieve agreed goals. The ‘b care’ network plans to provide members with:
- Preparation via an “Introductory” course called Facilitating Thriving
- Continuing education and development
- Peer networking and mentoring opportunities
- Resource development and sharing
- Assistance to achieve professional practice
