Community Links Program

The purpose of the program is to assist older people and adults who are isolated, either because of age or disability (intellectual, physical or psychiatric), by linking them back to their community. We provide support around recreational and leisure activities for individuals and groups by identifying areas of interest and then matching them to recreational opportunities within the community.

We have a number of workers who work alongside clients to help them identify and develop sustainable solutions that will enhance their independence while also giving them a sense of inclusion and social acceptance.

Active for almost a decade, the Community Links Program assists over 100 people a year and is currently offered at Hallett Cove, Onkaparinga, Unley, Mitcham, Marion and Holdfast Bay.
