Building Family Opportunities provides support for people and their families who are experiencing long term unemployment. Participants must reside in the Onkaparinga council or in Southern Adelaide.
Short term emergency care is provided for children who have been identified and assessed by Families SA as being at risk in their current home and have been removed from their parents/ guardians.
This service consists of a range of residential care facilities for young people aged 14-17 years with the aim of providing them a stable transition to independent living.
These are placements for young people (age 9-17 years) that provide 24/7 staff support as well as meals and accommodation. The objective here is to develop independent living skills within the children so they are able to look after themselves in society.
The ICAN program seeks to provide young people with mentoring relationships which can provide a positive influence in their lives and help in their career and personality development. Flexible Learning Options case managers engage with our young clients, helping them develop positive pathways for their future and addressing any barriers that are impacting on their education and/or employment goals.
Successful Transitions is a mentoring program which works intensively with youth aged between 17-24. The aim is to positively engage services and/or programs in order to develop positive pathways for their future by addressing any barriers which may be impacting on their education and/or employment goals.Contact
