Mylor Catering Team
Our Catering Team has more than 50 years combined experience in the camping industry and prepares all meals on-site. Standard and deluxe menu options are available. Sample menus are available in ‘Catering and Dining Room Information’.
We are committed to offering healthy balanced menus including red meat, chicken, fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as home-style baked biscuits, muffins and cakes. All of our meals are based on the ‘Right Bite’ Healthy Food Strategy for Schools. Portion sizes are based on the ‘Dietary Guidelines for Children and Adolescents in Australia’.
Special dietary needs can be catered for on request and consumption of alcohol requires prior arrangement/approval with management. Additional catering information is provided on the right-hand side of this page.
Please note: Groups under 50 are required to serve their own breakfast, all provisions will be available. Catering staff will be on site to prepare and serve lunch and dinner. Groups are also required to wash their own dishes through the commercial dishwasher and tidy up after themselves.
If you prefer to organise catering yourself, some conditions apply. The commercial kitchen is available for self catering groups. Your group is responsible for your own food safety – ensuring food is safe to eat. It is your group’s responsibility to keep the premises and equipment clean to a standard that meets the SA Food Safety standards and the Mylor campsite’s expectations. We require that the person in charge of your camp catering holds a current food safety handling certificate. More information can be found in the ‘Self Catering Pack’.
