Disability Chaplaincy

Disability SA established a full time Chaplaincy position in mid 2008 and Baptist Care Inc employee, Rev David Chambers, was appointed to the position.  David provides ongoing advice and support to residents and their families is based at the Disability SA facility Highgate Park, (formerly Julia Farr Centre) at Fisher Street, Malvern. Ph (08)82721988. Baptist Care is the Chaplain’s employer and provides ongoing advice and support.

Women's and Children's Hospital (WCH) Chaplaincy

Carl Aiken is the Coordinating Chaplain at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Carl is responsible for the leadership and management of the Pastoral and Spiritual Care services of the hospital. This involves pastoral care for patients their families and staff.

Prison Chaplaincy

Case de Bruyn is a Prison Chaplain for inmates incarcerated at Adelaide's Yatala Labour Prison.  Yatala is the largest prison in SA with approximately 500 prisoners.  About 50% of these men have not been sentenced as they are on remand, waiting to be tried.
