Eastern Adelaide Aboriginal Specific Homelessness Service

This program is delivered in partnership with the Aboriginal Sobriety Group (ASG) and provides Aboriginal-specific homelessness case management services. The program is government-funded to care for Aboriginal families and individuals (mostly single men).

Our Homelessness services for Aboriginal people can be summed up as:

• Provision of a small number of short-term houses where homeless people can stay while we work to find a more permanent residence.

• Case managers work with homeless people to plan a way forward out of the issues that cause homelessness.

• Intensive Tenancy Support works with Aboriginal clients who are about to lose their accommodation due to ongoing problems.
