Mental Health Support

In an ideal world, kids would be running around playing with friends, without a worry in the world. But life has its struggles and things can get tough for families, especially during periods of transition such as the birth of a new baby, breakdown of relationships, or death of a family member.

As a family, you might need support to help your children manage issues such as bullying, eating or sleeping problems, school transitions and teenager or adolescent related issues.

In our assessment and goal-setting with families, the needs and wellbeing of children are central and this then supports our work with parents to achieve well-being for the whole family. Working on an individual case basis as well as using targeted therapeutic group work, we aim to make positive changes for children and young people at risk of or affected by mental illness.

This is a free service and referrals can be made by anyone in the community including schools, early learning centres, health workers, community organisations and self-referrals.
