Moving towards adulthood can be a tricky time as you try to work out who you are and what you want to do with your life. Our Successful Transitions program is a 12 month mentoring service that works intensively with young people who are aged between 17-24 to successfully move them towards further education or employment.
If you are in the right age bracket and want to build your self-confidence and communication skills, you can do just that - and a lot more. We cover things like resume writing, job search skills, understanding the current job market, access to apprenticeships and traineeships and much more. We will also look at barriers that may be stopping you from moving forward and work with you and other local agencies and services to find solutions.
You can be referred to this program via your school, by yourself, through family or guardians, Centreline, Job Active Provider, other education and training providers or another young person.
Just fill in the online Successful Transitions Referral form and we will contact you.
