Program Activities

So now you’ve arrived, what can you do at Mylor?  It’s not so much a matter of what, but how much can you fit in to the time you’ve got available! 

Check out the list of program activities, and then talk to us about group sizes, age appropriateness, session durations and costs.

Guidelines for our activities are based on the Adventure Activity Standards prepared by Recreation SA or other relevant Outdoor Industry Standards.  Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) can be provided on request – please contact the Campsite Manager.

  • Mylor Nation, a wide game aimed at bonding large groups of participants together at the start of a camp
  • Raft Making and swimming, in the indoor heated pool
  • Bridge Building, across the Onkaparinga River
  • Toxic Swamp, problem solve your way through the dreaded wasteland
  • Archery, for all budding William Tells
  • Initiative Pursuits, mind-bending challenges that test teamwork, problem solving and communication skills
  • Low Ropes, a series of 12 elements set amongst a stand of gums on the river bank
  • Challenge Course, an obstacle course for two teams requiring physical dexterity, wits and no fear of water or mud
  • Canoeing, available year round from our private deck on the Onkaparinga River
  • Flying Fox, 200 m of 50 km/h exhilaration!
  • Mountain Biking, on the flat for beginners, along the river for intermediates and down through the bush block for those with more experience
  • Bouldering Wall, take the challenging route around the inside of our undercover activities shed
  • Fresh
  • Environmental programs, from bushwalking through our heritage scrub block to info sessions on native animal rescues

  • Giant swing, soar over the valley to heights of 10 m above ground level
