Since 1956, groups have been coming to the Mylor Baptist Campsite to enjoy time spent together, away from the city and every-day life, in a beautiful bush setting. Today our Campsite continues to grow, as does the range of facilities and on- and off-site camp programs.
Facilities
Campsite facilities include:
a spacious dining and recreation hall
heated male and female dormitories with ensuites
a commercial kitchen (Please note: Self Catering is not available),
a huge oval on the banks of the Onkaparinga River
an indoor heated pool,
tennis courts, and
a chapel.
All facilities are equipped to cater for people with special needs.
Programs
Designing and delivering comprehensive activity programs to meet the needs of your groups is our specialty.
All of our program activities have been developed with intentionality and purpose and are supervised by trained and experienced staff. Our Program Co-ordinator can assist you to choose activities and locations appropriate for your group, and then structure sessions to make your program run smoothly and efficiently.
All groups that visit Mylor Campsite are invited to include a Values Session in their camp program. These sessions are interactive and fun, give people of all ages and backgrounds an opportunity to reflect upon issues that are relevant to their lives, and encourage them to think about personal values.
