keen to explore the Campsite or off-site locations on the Fleurieu Peninsula, or
a member of a group or want to meet new friends,
then we can organise or recommend a camp option for you.
On-site camps at Mylor
Come and stay at Mylor in the comfortable dormitory accommodation and let us organise your program for you. You select the activities and we’ll take care of the rest.
If you’ve visited Mylor Campsite before and you’re looking for an exciting change, or you’re after an adventurous outdoor experience, why not consider off-site activities or camps conducted
on the nearby Fleurieu Peninsula.
We currently run day programs including mountain biking and orienteering in Kuitpo Forest for groups of up to 40 participants per session.
In the future we’re aiming to offer overnight camps for groups which include treks along the Heysen Trail, rides along the Mawson Trail or rock-climbing and abseiling at Morialta or Onkaparinga Gorges. Stay tuned for updates or contact us for more information.
Combination camps
If you’re visiting for more than one day, why not consider mixing on-site activities at Mylor with off-site activities on the Fleurieu Peninsula? We can provide transport in our two 10-seater 4WD vehicles or recommend reliable bus operators who are familiar with our Campsite and local surrounds.
On-site functions
Whether you’re a large club looking for a venue in the beautiful Adelaide Hills for your next national conference or forum, or a couple looking for the perfect place to hold a wedding, we can help with all your accommodation and catering needs. Check out our accommodation options and function menu and contact us for more information.
School Holiday Camps for Young People
The vision of the small group of dedicated pioneers who established the Mylor Baptist Campsite all those years ago was to create a place where young people from all walks of life could come and experience the love of God in fellowship with one another.
In keeping with this original vision, the tradition of running camps in the school holidays with a Christian focus continues today. Contact us for more details about how to get involved.
Easter Camp
A traditional favourite for high school aged young people, held annually over the Easter Long Weekend.
Life Adventure Camp
Life Adventure Camp was a big hit in 2009, and in 2010 we have very exciting news for you.
Firstly Baptist Care (SA) Adventure Camping has partnered with Schools Ministry Group (SMG) to jointly run Life Adventure Camp, this means that christian pastoral support workers (school chaplains) have the opportunity to build supportive relationships with students in their holiday camps.
Secondly Life Adventure Camp is growing too big to stay as a single camp and we're splitting into two separate age groups.
Primary Life Adventure Camp, years 4-7, will take place in the April School Holidays from Wednesday 9th - Friday 11th of April.
Seconday Life Adventure Camp, years 8 - 12, will take place in the October school holidays.
For more information and sign up please click here! This will take you to the SMG website.
