Download the appropriate Program Induction Form, fill it out and then fax, post or email it back to us.
Once you’ve registered with us we can keep you up to date with details of upcoming activities.
The Program Induction Form needs to be updated every 12 months and/or whenever your details change, so please complete a new one as often as you need to.
If you don’t have access to a printer, call us and we can fax a copy through to you.
(3) Book a spot
For each activity you’d like to attend, download an Activity Consent Form, fill it out and send it back to us.
When we receive a completed activity consent form, we’ll book you in to the activity you’ve selected.
PLEASE NOTE:
PLACES ARE LIMITED, SO GET YOUR FORMS IN AS SOON AS YOU CAN
A BOOKING DOESN’T GUARANTEE A PLACE ON AN ACTIVITY
On each trip we aim to include a Peer Leader, one or two clients who have been away with us before, and then fill remaining places on a first-come, first-served basis.
However, we also take into consideration the age distribution of potential clients and any presenting issues when configuring a group.
If you miss out on a place, our aim is to reserve a place for you on the next trip that takes your fancy.
Leaders
Peer Leaders
Young people who have participated in several Adventure Services programs and demonstrated a willingness to provide leadership and support to their peers are invited to become peer leaders on subsequent camps.
Peer Leaders assist in the preparation and running of trips, provide support to other participants and share stories of their life experiences.
Volunteers
Adventure Services has a long and proud history of utilising volunteers since programs first commenced. The generous support of all our volunteers is greatly appreciated.
Volunteering is a terrific way to get into the outdoors and have fun alongside disadvantaged people in our community. If you're interested being a volunteer leader, please give us a call and arrange a time to come in for a chat.
Contract employment
We’re always on the look-out for qualified people to assist us with running day activities and camps for at-risk and disadvantaged young people. If you have a recognised outdoor qualification we’d love to hear from you and add your name to our list of casual contractors.
Student placements
We’re also keen to support students who need to complete industry placements as part of Outdoor Recreation and/or Youthwork studies. Opportunities exist for students to participate as leaders on day activities and multi-day camps, or even design and run your own trips. If you have an interest in the outdoor industry and a desire to work with young people, give us a call to see what we can offer you.
