2009-2010

  • BC(SA), in partnership with Excel Training, successfully tendered for funding through the Productivity Places Program under the auspices of the Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology and funded by the Commonwealth Government. This funding supports job seekers to gain new skills through provision of training.
  • BC(SA) has been successful in gaining a place on the Department of Education and Children’s Services’ Preferred Provider Panel for:

  • Community Benefit SA – Funds to provide Camaraderie Camps for Homeless Clients serviced through WestCare or similar services.

  • “Wild Unlimited” a program of adventure-based day activities for disadvantaged youth – supported by the Office of Recreation and Sport
  • Bank SA – Donation towards the WestCare Emergency Relief Fund – food parcels and vouchers
  • CBSA – Various projects, including the Outreach program – “pay as you go meters” to assist disadvantaged youths with budgeting skills, Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Support Services – the purchase of outdoor recreation equipment for clients, and, the WestCare and Karpandi Arts Centre – purchase of arts materials
